Beginning - Satsang Centre is founded on Gudi Padwa, 1990, under the guidance of Paramhansa Sadguru Swami Madhavanath and senior Prabodhini volunteer and seeker Dr. Swarnalata Bhishikar.

Objectives - The center's primary objective is to bring together people from different religious backgrounds and to help seekers on the path of spiritual development.

Admission - Open to all individuals without any restrictions based on gender, age, caste or religion.

Structure and Practices - A Satsang is held every Sunday evening from 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM. The session starts with the chanting of the three Omkars, followed by the prayer written by Paramhansa Sadguru Swami Swaroopanand Pawas, along with singing verses from the holy Geeta. After that there is a discourse for the 45 minutes on the various spiritual subjects. Session concludes with a collective chanting of the Om Ram Krishna Hari. There are guided meditation sessions. At present Dr. Amol Gangji gives discourses on Upanishads.

Special Features -

  • Diverse participants from 20-21 different spiritual traditions engage in Satsang.
  • On the auspicious days, seekers express their thoughts and learned persons give lectures on various spiritual themes.

Additional Activities -

  • Spiritual retreat programs are organized to various pilgrimage sites like Pandharpur, Nimbal, Machanur, Akkalkot, and Harali.
  • Following learned persons have guided seekers in Satsang so far. Swami Varadanand Bharati, Dr. Kalyani Namjoshi, Rev.
