Objective - The diverse India, with its many castes, communities, religions, and traditions, should be woven together into the thread of unity. Everyone should collectively focus on nation-building. However, the first step towards national unity is to teach to say "We are all Indians" to those who are upset due to differences. The local people from the Northeast border areas are dissatisfied due to the lack of facilities and communication. It is crucial endearing such communities with love and providing various facilities to them as an essential step towards national unity. For this purpose, we have initiated a hostel in Solapur for the children from Manipur.
Structure - Prabodhini has established a new building named 'Chaitanya Bhuvan' at Sat Rasta (112 A, Modi Khana, Near Krishna Ice-cream, Solapur). In this building, there is a well-organized arrangement for approximately 30 students to stay on the second floor. In the academic year 2023-24, 14 Manipuri students are residing here. They go to Gandhi Natha Rangji School for their education. Among them, 4 students are in the 5th grade, 9 students are in the 6th grade, and 1 student is in the 7th grade.
Regular Timetable - There is a timetable for guidance in subjects like Mathematics, Science, and English. Apart from that, there are schedules for activities like computer studies, music, art, yoga, football, and more.
Special Events - The students visit the homes of local residents in Solapur to celebrate festivals like Rakhi Purnima and Diwali, On Ashadhi Ekadashi, they participate in group singing during bhajan worship. During Ganeshotsav, students also organize various events at different locations.
An appeal - Since the parents of these students cannot afford residential fees, this hostel operates on the basis of contributions from generous individuals. We earnestly request your financial support to continue this endeavor.
