Introduction - In Solapur district, there is a significant number of nomadic tribes who struggle to earn a livelihood. Consequently, these children do not receive the attention they deserve when it comes to education. Moreover, they are forced to work from a very young age, which hinders their education. To address this issue and ensure that these students receive a proper primary education, the Ankur Project was initiated.

Commencement - September 26, 2022

Structure - Every day, 1 hour in a day, students from the 1st to 4th grades are gathered together for lessons in subjects such as mathematics, language, and writing. Additionally, they are provided with a nutritious meal. The project caters to the needs of 25 students from various backgrounds and social strata.

Location - The project operates in a small rented hall in Swastik Nagar, Soregaon. The area lacks proper roads, public lighting, and restroom facilities for girls and women.

Special Programs –Books, notebooks and stationery were distributed to 30 students from 1st to 12th grades belonging to various social and economic backgrounds on September 26, 2022.
